Coinciding with the release of the new Merman t-shirt the Funky Trunks model-slash-swimmer of the year awards has been swum and won. The model-off between our three male models was settled with a pool deck walk-off.

First contender of the model-slash-swimmer of the year award - Jayden Hadler

Rookie Model and Australian Swimmer Tomas Elliott was next up in the model-slash-swimmer of the year awards

Our second contestant is rookie male model Tomas Elliott. Tom spent 2015 perfecting his blue steel and impressed fans with his new found pout. Twitter fans went crazy over Tom's chiselled features and tanned skin however it wasn't enough to take the title..

Third and final entrant to the model-slash-swimmer of the year awards- Kurt Herzog

Our last entrant is veteran male model Kurt "Kendoll" Herzog. With a name for each of his abs and a personal assistant for his pecs, Kurt is so hot right now. He showed his versatility strutting poolside by being able to walk forward and backwards.

After much deliberation and pondering, the winner of the Funky Trunks model-slash-swimmer of the year awards is once again Kendoll. On accepting the awards Kendoll thanked his quads for all the support and his lats for keep his back. Besides being professionally good looking these three models are training to make the Australian Olympic swim team next year and recommend the Merman t-shirt to get your inner merman out, just like national swimmer Mitch Jack.
