New World Records for Jack

Jack Ireland is a name to get used to leading into 2024, with our F-Teamer in blistering form at the recent 2023 Sydney Sprints Australian Short Course Championships. Ireland broke not one, but two World Records at the Championships. He is now the fastest in history in both the Men’s 100m and 200m Freestyle, in the S14 classification.

The Paris Paralympics are just months away and Ireland is looking to be one of the men to beat in his favoured S14 200m Freestyle. Jack won multiple medals at this year’s World Para Swimming Championships in Manchester, including bronze in his pet event. At the recent Australian Short Course Champs, Jack solidified his hot form, breaking World Records in the S14 100m (51.11), and 200m (1:51.55) Freestyle. Jack won these multi-class events, as well as the MC 50m Freestyle (23.85), marginally short of what would have been another World Record.

It’s exciting times ahead for our F-Teamer, so stay tuned to follow his progress leading into 2024. Be sure to follow him on @_jack.ireland
