Jack Makes World Para Champs Team

Swimming Australia has announced the Australian swimming team for the World Para Championships which will take place in Manchester, UK from 31 July to 6 August. Two F-Teamers, Jack Ireland and Lucky Patterson, swam their way onto the team with top performances at the recent Australian Championships on the Gold Coast.

Event: 200m Freestyle
Time: 1:55.15 (qualified for worlds in the heat)
Place: 1

Jack was really happy with his performance in the 200m Freestyle. He set a new PB and gained the Aus Champ title in this race which was important given it is his Para Worlds event for the S14 category. His goal was to set a new PB and to be selected on the team for Manchester, so he was thrilled to have achieved this goal.
