Martinez Selected for World Juniors
Following outstanding performances at the Age and Open National Championships, Ike Martinez has been selected to the Australian Junior Dolphins team. As part of a strong team of 30 athletes, he will join fellow F-Teamers Tiana Kritzinger, Iona Anderson, and Isabella Boyd to compete at the 2023 World Junior Championships in Netanya, Israel from the 4th – 9th September 2023. In preparation for the Championships they will participate in a staging camp in Paphos, Cyprus at the end of August.
Young powerhouse Ike Martinez, who swims for Rackley, dominated at the 2023 Age Champs on the Gold Coast. Ike won the 400 and 800m Free and the 100 and 200m Fly. With such a strong performance it's no surprise that Ike cemented a spot on the Junior Dolphin team.
