F-Teamer Jacob Hansford's dream will be fulfilled in Rio.
Having feared his Rio dream would not become a reality, Funky Trunks F-Teamer Jacob Hansford was ecstatic to receive the news of his selection for the 4 x 200m freestyle relay. Jacob finished fifth in the 200m freestyle at the Australian trials so missed out on automatic qualification making for an anxious wait to the team announcement.
"The moment I found out, I felt like I had accomplished something I thought was out of reach for me," Hanford admits.

Jacob trains with SOPAC swim club in Sydney, along with other aspiring Olympians and insists that belief is the key to achieving your dreams.
"Believe in yourself and believe in your coach, everyone started at the same point and it's not out of reach. Everyone was once someone, like you, wanting to qualify."
We are looking forward to seeing Jacob wear the green and gold as he races for Australia in Rio!
